Full time RN, OR circulator, Pre-Op, PACU
- No nights or weekends
- Closed on all major holidays
Job Overview:
Managing the overall nursing care within an operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and coordinating with the surgical team by managing supplies and communication:
- Preparing the operating room for surgery, including checking equipment and supplies
- Verifying patient identity and surgical site
- Monitoring patient vital signs during surgery
- Assisting the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintaining a sterile field
- Documenting surgical details and complications
- Communicating with the surgical team, patient, and family
Preparing patients for ophthalmological surgery by obtaining pre op history information and nurse assessment. Providing patient education regarding the surgical procedure and pre operative instructions. Obtaining medical clearance for outpatient surgery as needed.
Operating Room/Surgery experience preferred, but not required.

Job Requirements:
- Current AR RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills
