OVERALL DESCRIPTION: The Carpenter is responsible for the successful completion of the job, which includes being on time, on budget and maintaining a high level of quality. In addition to being an excellent framing and finish carpenter, he or she should exhibit good judgment, high ethical standards, good oral & written communication skills and strong leadership abilities. This position is on the “front line” in achieving our company goals of superior product quality and customer satisfaction.
ACTIVITIES: the position’s activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Insure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship, and polite communication.
- Attend all company/client meetings approved by the Production Manager.
- Help edit the proposed project schedule (critical path) in advance of project commencement, help adjust schedule as needed based on production realities.
- On a daily basis, inform the Production Manager of the progress of the project, including any customer concerns, problems, delays, etc.
- Be responsible for the efficient and profitable use of the company’s time, manpower and materials on each project as included in project estimate sheets.
- Help with the tracking of progress and profitability of the projects under his or her supervision and reporting to the Production Manager.
- Support the company image by the appearance of a well-maintained jobsite by utilizing the supplied materials.
- Maintain an operational inventory of necessary tools, safety equipment, equipment, and production truck to perform specific activities assigned by the Production Manager.

- Continually seek knowledge through the internet and other avenues to master your craft and abilities.
- Seek additional responsibility and guidance from all team members as needed to enhance existing skills, learn new skills, and create potential for advancement within the company.
Pay and Benefits:
- $25 per hour paid for each hour worked and documented using Timesheets.
- 7 paid holidays off including New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.
- 1 week (5 days) paid time off for any personal use (if less than 1900 hours worked per year then PTO may be subject to adjustment).
- Phone allowance for use of personal phone for business purposes will be paid monthly at a rate of $20/month.
- Vehicle mileage for personal vehicle use for business purposes will be paid monthly a flat rate of $200 per month.
