Job description
Assistant Center Store Manager works directly with the Center Store Manager(s) to insure our a great shopping experience for our guests. Center store merchandising includes grocery, frozen, dairy, general merchandise, health & beauty care, and beverage departments. The role ensures optimal in-stock conditions while efficiently managing inventory, excellent merchandising execution and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-starter with strong retail grocery experience and the ability to colobarate with team members in a fast-paced, fun environment.
Required Qualifications :
- 2+ years of food retail experience
- Proven track record of successfully multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous leadership experience preferred
General Duties
- Complete projects and other duties as assigned
- Ordering, stocking and merchandising to optimize the in-store experience and maximize sales
- Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving customer concerns and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment
- Execute promotional displays, seasonal programs, and company merchandising standards throughout the center store
- Cultivate and maintain great vendor relationships
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies and procedures
