Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work, and possess a strong attention to detail. This role is essential in providing guests with a comfortable and inviting environment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are consistently met.
Duties
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as needed
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and other common areas
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks when necessary for deep cleaning or special projects
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public spaces
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
- Experience with housekeeping management is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods during shifts
