Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the operating room, ensuring that surgical procedures are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibities:
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies as needed.
- Ensure all surgical instruments are accounted for before and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records related to surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs during operations.
- Adhere to strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
- Participate in emergency medicine scenarios when necessary.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program is preferred.
- 2+ years of surgical tech experience required.
- NBSTSA or NCCT is required.
- Special Requirements: Da Vinci Xi
