Job Overview

Duties
- Develop accurate print job estimates by analyzing specifications, materials, and production processes using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules.
- Coordinate production planning and scheduling to meet customer deadlines while maximizing resource utilization through lean manufacturing principles.
- Oversee daily plant operations, including workflow management, equipment maintenance, and process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to analyze supply chain analytics, manage inventory levels, and streamline procurement processes for raw materials and consumables.
- Implement quality control procedures throughout the production cycle to ensure finished products meet stringent standards.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Manage a team of operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and operational excellence in plant management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing or printing environment with strong knowledge of print processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP systems is essential.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and supply chain analytics to optimize workflows.
- Mechanical knowledge related to printing machinery, assembly lines, and process equipment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements using lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
- Strong skills in operations management, production planning, quality control, and plant management.
