American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter | Full Time | Renton / Seattle, WA | 2026–2027 School Year
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time ASL Interpreter for the 2026–2027 school year in Seattle, Washington. This is an in-person position working with a great and supportive school district. Job Highlights:
Qualifications:
EIPA score of 4.0 or higher and passing the written performance test
EIPA scores of 3.5–3.9 may also be considered
Fingerprinting required prior to start
School-based experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 interpretation for a student throughout the school day
Facilitate communication between the student, peers, and staff
Support access to curriculum and social interactions in the classroom
Collaborate with the student’s educational team
