Job Description: Responsible for CNC machine troubleshooting, updating tool paths and completing set ups for CNC Lathes in a high volume production environment. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Minimum of 2–5 years of CNC lathe setup experience in a manufacturing environment. Interpreting G and M codes. Machine set-ups and changeovers on CNC Lathes. Troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis techniques as they occur. Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators. Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Milling, Broaching and Part Finishing machining processes. Knowledge to teach robot and gantry pickup points. Knowledge of Nachi robot controls. General understanding of manufacturing processes and detailed knowledge of lathe tooling/programming.
