Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Funeral Director to join our Cleveland, Tennessee team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional service to families during one of the most important times in their lives.
This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working alongside an experienced team in a growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Meet with families to arrange funeral, memorial, cremation, and burial services.
- Guide families through all aspects of funeral planning with compassion and professionalism.
- Coordinate services with clergy, cemeteries, crematories, florists, and other vendors.
- Prepare and complete all required legal documentation and permits.
- Direct and oversee funeral and memorial services.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for calls, arrangements and services.
- Work collaboratively with office staff, funeral assistants, and management to ensure exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Tennessee Funeral Director license (or ability to obtain Tennessee reciprocity).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally sensitive situations.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous funeral service experience.
- Familiarity with funeral management software.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
