Job Title: Production Associate – Dog Treat Bakery (2nd Shift)Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Occasional Saturdays (as needed, not frequent)
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Associates to join our dog treat bakery team. This role involves working across multiple production lines to manufacture high-quality pet treats in a fast-paced, food-safe environment. While the products are for dogs, the work is very similar to a traditional bakery operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and learn multiple production systems, including:
- Rotary molder
- Conveyor belt systems
- Industrial ovens
- Metal detector
- Work across three production lines:
- Rotary line
- Manual cookie production
- Bake-at-home mixture station
- Ability to continuously lift 50 bags throughout shift.
- Follow all SQF (Safe Quality Food) policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Assist with product handling, packaging, and line support as needed
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting (not climate controlled)
- Can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter
- Drinking water is provided
- Employees must bring a refillable water bottle
Qualifications
- Reliable and self-motivated (self-starter)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to learn multiple processes and machines
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
Preferred (not required):
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Previous warehouse or production experience
- Forklift and/or pallet jack experience
Training
- Initial training will be conducted on 1st shift for 1–2 weeks
