Triumph Engineering & Design, Inc. (TED) is currently searching for a talented Professional Electrical Engineer in the State of Michigan. The job opening is a full time, permanent position at our office located in Grand Blanc, MI.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
With limited supervision, provide the technical, organizational and communication skills to produce well-designed and coordinated construction documents for electrical systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Electrical design for multi-family residential facilities and commercial buildings including hotels, shopping centers, restaurants and warehouses
- Power and lighting design
- Load calculations
- Prepare construction documents - drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, fixture schedules, panel schedules and other specific details related to the project
- Communicate and meet with clients
- Coordinate with other necessary design disciplines
- Approval of electrical submittals related to client construction administration
- Job site visits for field verification, measurements
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC)
Other requirements for the position include:
- Professional Engineer License
- Applicable work experience
- Computer-aided drafting experience
- Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit (a plus), and lighting software
