Job Title: Site Superintendent
Position Summary:
Three Rivers Corporation is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial, industrial, and healthcare construction projects. The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day field operations of assigned projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. This position serves as the primary leader that will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors to ensure successful project execution. MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide overall on-site leadership and management of construction projects from pre-construction through project completion.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact cost, quality, safety, or schedule.
- Maintain and update project schedules while coordinating manpower requirements with the Project Manager and other appropriate personnel.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily reports documenting project activities, manpower, equipment, safety observations, and project progress.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and company quality standards.
- Administer and enforce Three Rivers Corporation's safety policies, procedures, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Coordinate project inspections with local authorities, owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Initiate, track, and document Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring timely resolution of design or construction-related issues.
- Assist with project planning, logistics, sequencing, and coordination of multiple trades.
- Maintain professional working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and project team members.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates regarding project status, scheduling, manpower, safety, and quality.
- Identify potential project risks and develop solutions to mitigate impacts to project performance.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial, industrial, or healthcare construction projects.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of construction plans, specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple trades and effectively supervise field personnel and subcontractors.
- Strong construction scheduling and project coordination experience.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, construction practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a commitment to professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships and effectively resolve conflicts or project challenges.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Must be available to work throughout the State of Michigan to assigned project sites as needed.
- Frequently works outdoors and on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to walk jobsites, climb ladders and stairs, navigate uneven terrain, and perform site inspections.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety requirements.
