We are seeking an Associate Teacher for a Great Start Readiness Program classroom. The perfect candidate will be able to:
- collaborate with families regarding academic support for their children. Having a constructive and positive relationship with the parents is critical for the success of our students.
- implement the curriculum (Teaching Strategies: Creative Curriculum) with fidelity.
- collaborate with other professionals in the center, including the Early Childhood Specialist
- create activities to support developmental levels of all students
- work with the classroom team, planning and implementing lesson plans
- multitask when required
- instruct virtually if necessary
- demonstrate understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
- write and implement daily lesson plans
- use the assessment tool (TS:GOLD)
- support parents with Ages and Stages screening tool
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures in place regarding Covid-19
- Set up a room environment ensuring safety measures are in place.
Credentials:
- Associates Degree, Child Development or a Related Field
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Blood Borne Pathogens Training

Experience:
- Minimum of one year in a child care setting with 3,4,and 5-year-old students (preferred)
- Understand mandated reporting
Job Type:
- Full day (8 hours daily, 5 days a week, 10 months: September-June)
- $18-22 per hour, based on exp
