FULL-TIME MACHINE OPERATORS – $20.00/HOUR

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
2nd Shift Premium: Additional $1.50 per hour
Schedules:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:15 AM
POSITION SUMMARY
As an Industrial Machine Operator, you will be trained to operate industrial equipment, including vinyl fabric heat sealers, industrial sewing machines, and industrial grommet machines.
You will learn to assemble a variety of fabric products, including tents and pool covers, while following manufacturing processes designed to minimize waste and efficiently use materials, equipment, and production time. You will be responsible for meeting established production and quality standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Read, write, and understand basic math.
- Effectively use a measuring tape and other hand tools.
- Willingness to learn production processes and operate a variety of machines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to learn and retain work instructions.
- Ability to reliably report to work according to the scheduled shift.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of general work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
These skills are preferred but not required:
- Knowledge of sound manufacturing techniques.
- Previous production experience operating machinery.
- Experience manufacturing products made from fabric.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be able to:
- Verify authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliably commute to work according to the assigned schedule.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment substance abuse screen.
