Position Type: Full-time, 35.5 hours per week
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at the Fair Lawn Campus for a full-time position with hours of 8 am - 3 pm (M, T, W, Fri) and 8 am- 3:30 pm (Thursday), beginning in September 2026. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse population of students, ages 3-8, in a dynamic, multidisciplinary school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students ranging from ages 3-8.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), Classroom teachers, and Nursing staff to deliver a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to student care.
- Manage a small caseload of 12 students, ensuring personalized and focused therapy.
- Participate in weekly supervision and multidisciplinary team meetings to support professional growth and enhance service delivery.
- Work with a diverse caseload that may include students with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs, feeding and swallowing challenges, language delays, and vision impairments.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- NJ Speech Language Specialist School Certification.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
