Subsidiary: New Millennium Overview:
This internship is only available to high school students in NE Indiana.
Responsibilities:
- Learn AutoCAD fundamentals to prepare deck and joist layouts

Help promote philanthropy activities to develop communication skills

Prepare deck and joist layout plans and sections using AutoCAD
-
Prepare RFI’s and coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, engineers and others

Calculate joist and girder loading based on design loading provided on contract documents
-
Handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, production driven environment
-
Meet schedules for assigned projects
-
Other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Candidates should have an interest in a career where they'll utilize 2D/3D Drafting & Modeling Software

Candidates must be enrolled in a high school entering their senior year

Must possess skills to solve Algebra problems

Preferred cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.7
