Independent Electrical Technician (Part-Time / Per Job)
We are a nationwide facility management company looking to expand our network of reliable electrical technicians across the United States.
This is a part-time, on-demand contractor position. Work is assigned based on the volume of service calls in your area, making it an excellent opportunity to earn additional income while maintaining your current schedule.
What You'll Do
- Perform commercial electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Diagnose electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Install, repair, and replace electrical components and fixtures.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
- Take clear before-and-after photos.
- Submit service reports upon job completion.
- Communicate with our dispatch team throughout the service call.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent our company positively.
Common Work Orders
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Lighting repairs and LED retrofits
- Ballast, driver, and lamp replacements
- Outlet, switch, and GFCI repairs
- Circuit breaker and panel repairs
- Emergency and exit lighting
- Electrical wiring repairs
- Disconnects and safety switches
- Signage and parking lot lighting
- Preventive maintenance and inspections
Requirements
- Previous commercial electrical experience.
- Electrical license (where required by state or local regulations).
- Own tools and reliable transportation.
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Ability to provide clear documentation and photos.
- Professional communication and dependable work ethic.
Compensation
- Pay is per completed job (not hourly).
- Competitive rates based on the scope of work.
- Same-day payment after successful completion of the work order and required documentation.
