Job Duties for Welding Final Assembly Technician Position:
-
Bead blast, cut, shape, and apply DA finish to parts and cabinets
-
Use templates to form lead components accurately
-
Assemble completed parts and cabinets for final shipment
-
Inspect equipment daily and report any issues
-
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with company procedures and regulations
-
Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
-
Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Welding Final Assembly Technician Position:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to read basic drawings and prints
-
Ability to accurately use tape measures and calipers
-
Commitment to working safely and efficiently
-
Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toe or composite-toe shoes, safety goggles, gloves, and a respirator
-
Comfortable working around chemicals and lead materials
-
Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently walk, bend, stoop, and lift or carry parts and materials

Ability to stand for duration of shift
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
