Who We Are:
The Springstone School is a nonpublic school that serves students in grades 6 through 12, with various neurodivergent disabilities, but focused on Autism and Executive Functioning challenges. Although our students have social and organizational challenges, they do not have unsafe or aggressive behaviors. We have small class sizes of 8-10 students per cohort, per grade level. This allows for meaningful connections between teacher and pupils.
Our mission is to help our students develop strategies for use in academic and social settings so they can be part of a community that understands, accepts, and challenges them.
We actively go out in the community to teach our students how to navigate BART, use maps, and how to explore the Bay Area safely.
