Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and Christian environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, providing care and support that fosters their growth and development. This role involves supervising children, planning activities, and ensuring their safety while encouraging learning through play.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide nurturing care for infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met.
- Educate children on basic life skills, social interactions, and behavior management techniques as well as Christian based curriculumn.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area to ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment at all times.
- Document daily activities, behaviors, and any incidents as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as nannying, babysitting, or early childhood education is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage children's behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and other caregivers.
- A nurturing personality with a genuine love for working with children of various ages.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of families.
