Group home staff needed for Friday-Sunday- foster care boys
Catalyst Community Corporation is a boys group home company located in Mesa, AZ. These are foster care teenage boys that are in Arizona Department of Child Safety and tribal custody and are wards of the court. We need people with a lot of experience, capable of working alone, and the pay depends on your experience in this field. Currently we are looking for overnight staff as well as weekend staff. You must have a valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card, a clean driving record, 1 year of experience working with youth, and be at least 21 years of age to apply for this position.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
~ Experience with foster youth
~ Minimum of 1 year experience working with kids/youth
~ Ability to supervise teenagers at all times
~ Promotes healthy boundaries with staff and youth
~ Good housekeeping/cooking skills
~ Ability to complete all job required forms
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
~ Attention to detail
~ Applicants applying for management need to have management/leadership and group home staff experience
Requirements:
~ Minimum high school diploma.
~ Be able to pass pre-employment drug and criminal background check
~ Be able to pass CPR/1st Aid, and CIT/CPI/Prevention and Support classes
~ Have a Valid Driver's License and obtain a 5 year DMV certified driving record, and also must have current auto insurance
~ Be medically cleared to work. The company will cover the costs of this.
~ Be over 21 years of age
~ Possess a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of applying
~ Pass a federally required out-of-state Adam Walsh Background Check (if applicable)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per year
