S&J Express is hiring a Remote Dump Truck Lead Finder to help find hauling jobs, construction projects, and contractors that need dump trucks.
Pay is $25-$30 per hour plus 5% commission on net profit from jobs you personally bring in that become paid jobs. Commission is paid only after the customer pays and net profit is confirmed.
We operate 15 dump trucks and can supply 100+ trucks through our network for larger construction projects. We haul dirt, base rock, aggregates, asphalt, concrete, demolition material, and other construction materials.
This job is for someone who is organized, comfortable making phone calls, and able to find real work opportunities for a trucking company.
Responsibilities include finding contractors and construction companies that need dump trucks or hauling services, searching for projects involving grading, paving, demolition, excavation, dirt hauling, aggregate delivery, asphalt/concrete hauling, and disposal, calling and emailing contractors for trucking quotes, getting S&J Express added to bid lists and vendor lists, tracking leads in a spreadsheet, helping send trucking quotes, and following up until we know if the job is awarded.
Requirements: comfortable making phone calls, organized and reliable, basic computer, email, and spreadsheet skills. Construction, trucking, dispatch, sales, estimating, or lead generation experience is preferred.
This is a seasonal business, so workload may be busier during peak construction season and slower during off-season periods. Hours may vary depending on project demand and available work.
This is a remote position. Part-time or full-time available. Monday to Friday preferred. Flexible schedule may be available for the right person.
