Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality food service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will assist in various kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and maintaining food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food handling and ensure proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Support catering events as needed, assisting with setup and breakdown of food stations.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
- Dishwashing and general cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Age 16+ with a valid Michigan State ID or Driver's License.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic culinary skills, including cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
- A passion for cooking and the culinary arts is highly desirable.
- On the job training is available.
- We are a children's camp so must be able to pass a backgroundcheck.

- 6am - 3pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday
- 6am - 3pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
