Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Non CDL Commercial Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks, including A Silverado pulling a 27'dump trailer. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service will ensure smooth route operations and uphold our commitment to environmental responsibility. Duties
- Safely operate a variety of non-CDL commercial trucks such as garbage trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and flatbeds in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and state transportation laws
- Load, unload, and household materials.
- Follow designated routes for going to to each job proficienly while complying with traffic laws and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure optimal operation
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, route completion times, and vehicle maintenance reports
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with residents and clients during pickups or deliveries
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling waste containers or equipment in outdoor environments
Qualifications
- Valid non-CDL driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving preferred
- Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and Experience
- Mechanical aptitude to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on defensive driving techniques to ensure safety at all times
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence and continuous improvement in driving skills
