We provides international trip support to charter and private companies throughout the US. We strive to offer personal service for each client, no matter the size of the plane or the length of the trip. We are currently seeking an International Operations Specialist to assist our clients with their international trip support requests.
The ideal candidate does not need to have previous aviation/international trip support experience but must be highly motivated to learn, have exceptional attention to detail, and offer attentive and efficient service to clients. Must be willing to work IN OFFICE, any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The International Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating and confirming all trip logistics for the client efficiently and thoroughly. In all things, attention to detail is crucial. This means checking and double-checking things like schedules, passport numbers, crew information, etc.
Job Description:
1. Assumes responsibility for the efficient and accurate coordination of client trips.
- Sets up ground handling and customs
- Learns and can communicate to client when overflight/landing permits are required
- Sets up ground transportation and hotel accommodations for crew/pax as needed
2. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective, professional relations with clients.
- Ensures that clients’ requests and questions are promptly resolved.
- Receives and processes new client trips and changes to existing trips.
- Ensures that VIA’s quality reputation is maintained and protected.
3. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with personnel and management.
- Assists personnel as required.
- Keeps supervisor/management informed of all trips and any significant problems or concerns.
- Attends meetings as required.
4. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
- Understands and complies with company opening and closing procedures.
- Ensures that work area is clean, well maintained, and secure.
- Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
- Highly motivated to learn the corporate aviation field.
- Ability to multi-task accurately and efficiently dealing with dynamic situations.
- 1-3 years’ experience providing great customer service.
- Ability to learn in-house software system.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to work on Mac computers.

- Requires flexibility in work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays often required) and regular attendance necessary.
- Occasional travel to industry conferences is possible, if interested.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
