Responsibilities
- - Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities
- - Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a respectful, inclusive environment for all children
- - Engage with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities to promote cognitive and social development
- - Help monitor and document each child's progress and developmental milestones to inform ongoing instruction
- - Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's daily experiences and developmental progress
Qualifications
- - Minimum of a CDA, AA/AS in Early Childhood preferred or related field
- - Prior experience working with young children in PreK is highly preferred
- - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families
- - Ability to assist in lesson planning for literacy education, math readiness, and overall curriculum development
- - Demonstrated classroom management skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere
