Then you may be who GigWorx is hiring for a hands-on Operations Manager for a private, high-end automotive facility in the area.
This is a lead from the front, hands on role, not a desk job. You'll spend your days around beautiful vehicles and discerning clients - keeping everything clean, organized, and ready to roll. What you'll do
- Move, stage, and position high-value vehicles safely and confidently
- Lead the detailing and maintenance schedule of the fleet - wash, protect, and keep every car showroom-ready
- Handle vehicle intake and deliveries, including loading and unloading haulers
- Keep the shop stocked, organized, and running smoothly — supplies, scheduling, and day-to-day flow. How can you exceed client expectations?
- Lead and keep 1–2 porters on track, and set the standard for the crew
- Greet and take care of high-end owners with discretion and polish
- Manage the growth of a quickly expanding operation!
What we're looking for
- A genuine car enthusiast with real hands-on skills — detailing, basic maintenance, and moving/staging vehicles
- A take-charge, “the-buck-stops-with-me” operator who catches the small stuff and follows through
- Someone comfortable and discreet around high-end clients and their vehicles. Five Star customer service
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Flexibility on a 5-day rotation, plus openness to occasional travel to Missoula and a team gathering in Los Angeles about twice a year
- Comfortable driving a manual transmission, towing trailers and providing basic vehicle maintenance.
- Obsessed with the details and a stickler for organization
- Comfortable managing teams - leading, coaching, hiring and terminating staff
Nice to have (not required)
- CDL (Class A or B)
- Some project management or facilities experience
- Detailing experience
- Familiarity with a basic CRM or scheduling tool
