Description:
Riverside Logistics Supervisors are responsible for leading a team of associates performing warehouse functions as assigned. They provide support to the Warehouse Manager in the analysis of workloads to determine work schedules and billing activities. Effectively communicates on a daily basis with management, peers, team members assigned and external customers. Ensures accuracy, work quality and strict adherence to company and customer specified standards/requirements.
Requirements:
- Performs all functions of Associates and Team Leader, as needed.

Posts and creates Warehouse Documents as needed for assigned position.

Utilizes a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to management warehouse operations such as Routing batches including travel documents for the assigned facility as needed.

Analyzes of work activities and volumes providing the Warehouse Manager with a daily update.

Assists Warehouse Manager with determining work schedules and appropriate staffing arrangements.

Ensures compliance with Riverside and customer policies and procedures with strict adherence to quality guidelines.

Provides constructive feedback in a positive manner to their assigned teams.

Assists Warehouse Manager in conducting regular team meetings.

Communicates regularly with supervisors, managers, subordinates, warehouse personnel and peers.

Enforces company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook and recommend corrective or disciplinary actions to Warehouse Manager as needed.

Interacts with customers via phone, fax, and email regarding daily cross dock orders and shipments.

Researches cross dock receipt discrepancies on as needed basis.

Trains associates and other personnel on SOP’s and Work Instructions.

Processes Return Goods Authorization (RGA) as assigned.

Performs maintenance for customer log spreadsheets

Inspects Nonconforming Material Report (NCMR) and provides update/findings to customers.

Opens and closes assigned facility and provides security alarm response.
