We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused professional to join our growing team in a Customer Sales & Support Specialist role.

In this role, you will support existing customer accounts, help generate new business opportunities, and work closely with internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will play an important role in supporting company growth while building long-term relationships with customers.

Responsibilities
Customer Support & Account Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer communication, support, and problem solving
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and issues
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Communicate order updates, inventory changes, and delivery information proactively
- Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships to drive retention and account growth
- Resolve customer concerns with urgency, professionalism, and care
Sales & Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, referrals, and lead follow-up
- Prepare quotes, recommend products, and guide customers through the sales process
- Support sales initiatives and help drive revenue growth
- Identify customer needs and proactively provide solutions that add value
- Track opportunities, customer activity, and account updates within CRM systems
- Support trade shows and industry events including setup, lead management, and follow-up
Team Collaboration & Operations
- Partner with purchasing, operations, warehouse, shipping, and accounting teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
- Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems
- Help improve workflows, sales processes, and customer experience initiatives
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture

Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, account management, or business development preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify opportunities and confidently ask for business
- Comfortable managing multiple customers and priorities simultaneously
- Strong computer, organization, and data entry skills
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred (HubSpot experience is a plus)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Professional, dependable, and adaptable attitude
- Willingness to occasionally travel for customer visits and trade shows
- Experience in packaging, distribution, produce, food service, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus
