We’re seeking a dynamic, caring, and qualified teacher to join our team and guide our young learners as they grow, explore, and prepare for their academic future.
We are currently hiring for the following positions for the 2025-2026 school year:
Kindergarten / 1st Grade Teacher
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred
- Florida Department of Education Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain certification preferred
- Experience teaching early elementary grades (K–1) in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of early childhood and elementary curriculum development
- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must pass all required background screening in accordance with Florida childcare and education regulations
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‐quality, engaging instruction to VPK and/or Kindergarten aged children in alignment with program goals and standards.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where each child is encouraged to explore, express themselves, and grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
- Work with the daily schedule of 6.5 hours (Monday to Friday), overseeing all classroom activities during that time.
- Monitor children’s development and maintain accurate records of progress, behavior, and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing updates on student progress, classroom routines, and offering support and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to continually improve program quality and student outcomes.
- Integrate age‐appropriate technology, instructional materials, and activities that reflect children’s cultures, learning styles, and needs.
- Ensure classroom compliance with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and safety policies.
- Participate in professional development and maintain ongoing certification/training as required by state guidelines.

Qualifications
- Valid Florida teaching certificate appropriate for VPK or Kindergarten (or eligibility to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development, instructional strategies, and the ability to differentiate for young learners.
- Effective classroom management skills and ability to create positive, engaging learning experiences.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom culture.
- Experience teaching VPK or Kindergarten preferred.
