We are putting together a team of full-time CDL-A drivers for OTR routes rolling out of Carrboro, NC. Brand new CDL graduates and drivers who already have some time behind the wheel are equally welcome and encouraged to reach out. PAY:

JOB DETAILS:

- Freight: No-Touch Dedicated Dry Van assigned on every single load every time

- Schedule: Day and night shift options are both on the table and available to all drivers; some weekend loads may occasionally come up depending on freight demand
- Weekly mileage: 1,800 - 2,500 miles
EQUIPMENT:
- The entire fleet runs exclusively on 2024 or newer Freightliner Cascadias that are kept in outstanding condition and are road ready at every single moment of every single day
- Automatic transmission is standard factory fitted equipment on each and every truck throughout the complete fleet
- Dry van trailers are used as the exclusive trailer type on every single assigned load

REQUIREMENTS:
- Possession of a valid and currently active Class A CDL is a strict firm and absolutely non-negotiable requirement for each and every applicant
- Every candidate must be at least 21 years of age at the precise moment their application lands in our hands
- A driving history that is completely spotless thoroughly clean and able to be verified in full detail is a hard non-negotiable requirement across the board
- Any history whatsoever of SAP program involvement or DUI charges of any nature or degree is a firm and immediate automatic disqualifier with zero exceptions
- All applicants without exception must pass a comprehensive DOT physical examination and fully clear a pre-employment drug screening before they are cleared and approved to begin working
- Must be situated within a commutable realistic and practical distance from Carrboro, NC
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Step up and take absolute full and complete ownership of all Class A tractor-trailer operations on every single assigned OTR run while maintaining the highest conceivable standard of safety and professionalism at every stage from departure to return
- Conduct thorough meticulous and fully comprehensive vehicle inspections at the very start and the very conclusion of each individual haul every single time with no steps skipped and no corners cut
- Keep every single ELD electronic log entry fully accurate completely current and in total strict compliance with all applicable DOT rules regulations and standards at every moment
- Follow every DOT standard and every company safety rule with absolute unwavering precision and complete consistency throughout the entire duration of each and every haul
- Stay in constant proactive professional clear and timely communication with dispatch from the very moment the truck pulls out of the yard all the way through to the completion of the final delivery on every run
