Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections through engaging demos and upselling techniques
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person
- Supervise team members, assign tasks such as merchandising, stocking, and cashiering to ensure efficient store operations
- Conduct product merchandising to highlight promotions and optimize sales opportunities
- Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and managing inventory counts using retail math skills
- Support the store’s overall sales goals through proactive upselling and customer engagement strategies
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience with familiarity in grocery stores or similar environments is preferred
- Supervising experience in a retail or grocery setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual ability) is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for transactions and inventory management
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to build lasting shopper relationships
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and store upkeep efficiently
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
