Position Overview
ECC Corporation is seeking an experienced Client Service Leader to grow our presence and strengthen client relationships in the Florida region. In this position, you will lead strategy and business development activities, develop connections with new and existing clients and ensure delivery of high-quality professional services. This role will require a seller-doer who will also directly manage projects and provide technical expertise to clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for regional clients, maintaining relationships, driving business development and executing the strategic plan for the region. Represent ECC through active participation in industry organizations and by attendance at job-related functions.
- Lead project pursuits including identification of potential business opportunities, directing development of marketing materials, proposals, presentations and interview strategies.
- Serve as project manager for major clients on complex infrastructure projects as needed.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality professional and project services across the region.
- Build team technical capabilities, supervising direct reports, recruiting new talent and fostering employee retention.
- Maintain a consistent office presence and represent senior leadership in supporting an efficient and productive environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or similar professional credential preferred.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressively responsible experience in civil, highway/bridge, rail, facilities, or transportation‑related fields.
- Prior experience with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), either as a client or employee, preferred.
- Progressive project management and business development experience with transportation projects.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
- Strong knowledge of project/program management, construction inspection, and contract administration.
- Experience working on railroad projects preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
