Shift - Evening shift , 3:00-11:30pm with Every Other Weekend
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Rehabilitation to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care settings, with experience in case management and home care. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from various conditions, ensuring their rehabilitation process is effective and supportive.
Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and overall well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and rehabilitation goals.
- Provide skilled nursing interventions, including catheter care and medical documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively within the hospital or teaching hospital environment.
- Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, home care strategies, and self-management techniques.
- Conduct laboratory tests as needed to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of MA and BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of rehab nursing experience.
