Non-profit organization is seeking a full time victim/family advocate. Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services, criminal justice or social work field and recommend 2 years experience working in the human services, criminal justice or social work field.
Job description: To reduce trauma experienced by children and their non-offending caregivers by providing emotional support and information to the family. Provides case management, coordinate needed services, function as a team member and works closely with multidisciplinary team members. Candidate must possess the ability to develop and maintain relationships with community agencies to enhance client services. Must provide own transportation. Criminal record reports must be clear of abuse offenses, felonies, and crimes against minors.
