We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond to incidents effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals in distress.
- Document incidents, observations, and any relevant information in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary during investigations or emergencies.
- Implement conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying risks and reporting them promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, or military service is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
