Buffalo, Wyoming
We are seeking a full-time Clinic RN to join our team in Buffalo, WY. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday morning shifts. Full-time hours are generally 32–40 hours per week. Pay is dependent on experience.
Summary
The clinic RN supports patient care in an outpatient setting by assisting providers, preparing patients for exams, documenting care, administering medications, and helping coordinate follow-up services. This role serves patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for visits.
- Obtain vital signs, patient history, allergies, medications, and chief complaints.
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and in-office treatments.
- Perform triage in person and by phone.
- Administer medications, including IV medications, per provider orders and clinic policy.
- Complete nursing tasks such as IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, EKGs, NSTs, cognitive assessments, and other assigned procedures.
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Support patient education, referrals, care coordination, and transitional care follow-up.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment.
- Participate in staff education and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Wyoming.
- Understanding of nursing practice rules and standards in Wyoming.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Clinical experience preferred; 2 years of experience is preferred.
