Food Service Team Member

Position Summary:
The Food Service Team Member is responsible for executing high-quality food preparation and service in a fast-paced convenience retail environment. This role supports the daily production of grab-and-go and made-to-order food items while maintaining strict standards for food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Execution

Prepare, cook, and assemble food items according to approved recipes and portion standards

Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly

Maintain product quality, presentation, and speed of service

Support hot and cold grab-and-go food programs
Food Safety & Sanitation

Follow food safety regulations and company policies

Maintain proper food handling and storage procedures

Complete required food safety training

Maintain clean and sanitary workstations
Cleanliness & Facility Standards

Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules

Maintain back-of-house cleanliness

Report equipment or sanitation concerns
Safety & Compliance

Follow workplace safety procedures

Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards
Teamwork & Customer Focus

Work collaboratively with team members

Assist during peak periods

Communicate effectively with supervisors
Qualifications & Experience
Required

QSR or commercial kitchen experience

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
-
Reliable transportation
-
Flexible schedule
Preferred

Food Handler certification
-
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
