At Staybridge Suites Gulf Shores, we are looking for a dynamic, hands-on General Manager who is ready to lead from the front, build a high-performing team, and take full accountability for the success of the property.

With fully equipped kitchens, complimentary breakfast, evening social events, and spacious suites, the property offers a community-driven guest experience that blends comfort and convenience.
Located just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico beaches and top attractions, this hotel serves both leisure and extended-stay travelers, creating a dynamic and high-visibility operating environment.

Your Role – What You’ll Own
Run the Entire Operation
-
Oversee all departments including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales coordination

Ensure the hotel operates efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with brand standards

Maintain a strong presence on the floor — this is a hands-on leadership role
Drive Financial Performance
-
Own the hotel’s P&L and overall profitability

Execute revenue strategies to maximize occupancy and ADR
-
Control expenses, manage labor, and deliver strong NOI performance

Monitor key metrics including guest satisfaction, market share, and operating results
General Managers are ultimately responsible for profitability, guest satisfaction, and overall hotel performance across all departments.
Lead and Build a Winning Team

Hire, train, coach, and develop department leaders and staff

Set clear expectations, hold teams accountable, and recognize performance

Create a culture of service, ownership, and pride
Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience

Ensure every guest interaction reflects professionalism and care

Lead service recovery and elevate guest satisfaction scores

Build a strong reputation in the local market
Own Strategy and Growth

Execute the annual business plan and identify growth opportunities

Partner with revenue and sales functions to drive performance

Represent the hotel with ownership, brand partners, and the community
What You Bring
-
3–5+ years of hotel leadership experience
-
Prior General Manager or strong Assistant General Manager experience
-
Proven ability to drive financial performance and manage costs

Strong leadership presence and team-building capability

Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Hands-on, accountable, and results-driven mindset
