Job Description:
We're Hiring! Must be 16 years of age or older (18+ preferred). Applicants 16+ considered with proper experience.
This is a seasonal position that runs through our full season. We’re looking for team members who can commit beyond the summer months. Our season is February through November, closed in December and January.
With multiple locations open and a busy season ahead, we’re looking to begin training now!
For this job, you must know how to swim and be willing to learn how to work with children ages 6 months and up, as well as being comfortable working with adults. Being a team player is essential. We take pride in being a swim school that builds strong relationships with the swimmers we teach. As a swim instructor, you are expected to be coachable and open to learning our methods. Learning to swim is a major milestone for our swimmers, and it takes trust, communication, and encouragement to guide them through their lessons. It is a very rewarding experience.
Qualifications:
- Must be Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certified, or willing to obtain certification
- Must be willing to undergo a background check (for applicants 18+)
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working with children
- Must be a good swimmer (swim test will be given prior to training)
- Must be able to provide 3 professional references
- Coachable, adaptable, reliable, responsible, and a strong communicator
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
