Responsibilities
- Serve as Collaborating Physician for Texas PMHNPs
- Maintain collaborative relationships as required by Texas law
- Participate in periodic chart reviews
- Be available for clinical consultation when needed
- Attend scheduled collaboration meetings
- Support quality assurance initiatives
- Provide guidance on complex psychiatric cases when appropriate
QualificationsRequired
- MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
- Current DEA registration
- Good standing with all regulatory agencies
- Strong collaborative leadership skills
Preferred
- Experience collaborating with PMHNPs
- Interest in integrative psychiatry
- Experience with telepsychiatry
- Leadership or mentorship experience
- Interest in helping grow innovative mental health programs
