This position provides accounting, financial, and business operations support within the Facilities Management Department at CU Denver | Anschutz. Planned areas of support include Bookstore, Post Office, Event Management System, Food Services, Denver Parking, Sustainability, Fleet Management, Space and Asset Inventory, and Gift Card Program. This position will assist or serve as backup for Utilities and Anschutz Parking. Areas of responsibility may be updated as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
o Create purchase orders
o Review and submit assigned shopping carts
o Advise on appropriate procurement methods and obtain approvals based on thresholds and nature of goods & services
o Book and reconcile AR
o Invoice customers
o Process checks and cash deposits and notify customers of outstanding payments
- Update monthly financial reports
- Assist with fiscal year-end processes
- Process safety boots and glasses reimbursement
- Assist the Accounting Manager and Team Lead with other accounting duties as needed
