Duties
- Install and assemble cabinetry, fixtures, doors, trim, and flooring with precision and attention to detail
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall installation, and finishing work to prepare spaces for remodeling
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to execute tasks efficiently across multiple projects
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately interpret project specifications
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and adheres to safety protocols
- Manage glass, countertops, masonry elements, and other custom components
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of remodels while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for accurate project execution
- Extensive experience with carpentry including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, roofing, and cabinet installation
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete finishing techniques
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, fixture installation, and restoration processes
- Experience in flooring installation including tile laying and flooring finishing techniques
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and inspection standards
