Job Summary
KDENTAL (formerly Hess Dental Care) is seeking a positive and motivated Dental Assistant at our well established, comfortable pace out of network private practice. Previous Assisting Experience or DA certification is required.

In our practice, you’ll play an important role in supporting patient care, assisting with procedures, sterilizing instruments, and helping create a positive experience for every patient. Hours: We see patients on M, T, W: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Morning Huddle starts at 7:45 AM, and weekly team meeting from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursdays. No Fridays, Weekends or Holidays.
Expected hours: Full time - 4 days per week (35-38hrs)
Pay: $20-25 to start based on experience and value to our practice

Duties
- Patient communication — Greet patients, review medical histories, and help them feel comfortable
- Chairside assistance — Support the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and ensuring smooth workflow
- Room preparation — Set up and break down operatories before and after each patient
- Instrument sterilization — Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments following proper protocols
- Sterilization area upkeep — Keep sterilization and prep areas organized and compliant
- Taking X‑rays — Capture digital radiographs and ensure proper positioning and safety
- Charting and documentation — Record treatment notes, findings, and procedure details accurately
- Assisting with impressions — Help with scans and lab case preparation
- Maintaining inventory — Monitor supplies and restock operatories as needed
- Workflow support — Help keep the schedule running smoothly and assist the team wherever needed
Qualifications
- Assisting Experience or Dental Assistant Degree
