Job Overview
Digital Empire Agency is looking for a creative, confident, and driven Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator to help brands stand out online.
You will create content for car dealerships, local businesses, lifestyle companies, and online brands. From capturing attention-grabbing videos to helping manage social media posting, you will play an important role in shaping how our clients look, sound, and connect with their audiences.
This is more than simply filming content. You will help turn brands, businesses, products, employees, and customer experiences into stories people want to watch.
You will:
- Travel to client locations several times per month
- Capture high-quality short-form videos and photos
- Develop creative concepts based on each brand’s personality
- Direct business owners, employees, salespeople, and other talent on camera
- Help organize, schedule, and publish social media content
- Participate in content planning sessions at our West Orange office
- Work closely with clients and our internal team to bring bold ideas to life
This position is ideal for someone who loves social media, understands what captures attention, and wants to help build recognizable brands through powerful content.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Visit client locations to capture Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, testimonials, product videos, walkarounds, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and brand stories
- Create content that showcases each client’s personality, people, products, services, and culture
- Transform everyday business moments into entertaining and engaging social media content
- Brainstorm creative concepts, recurring content series, trending videos, and campaign ideas
- Direct clients and team members on camera so they feel comfortable, confident, and natural
- Capture high-quality video and photography that matches each brand’s visual identity
- Write captions and assist with scheduling, uploading, and publishing content across social platforms
- Help maintain consistent posting schedules for multiple client accounts
- Organize, label, and upload footage so the editing and publishing process runs efficiently
- Perform light video editing using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, Premiere Pro, or similar software
- Repurpose content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms
- Monitor current trends, sounds, formats, hooks, and creative styles
- Maintain brand consistency across every piece of content
- Review basic platform analytics to understand what is performing and help improve future content
- Attend content days, creative meetings, and planning sessions at our West Orange office
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience creating short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of social media content, trends, hooks, storytelling, and audience engagement
- Comfortable filming onsite and working directly with clients
- Confident directing business owners, employees, and talent during shoots
- Basic video editing and content repurposing skills
- Experience posting and managing content across social media platforms
- Reliable transportation for onsite client shoots
- Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage content for multiple brands while maintaining their individual identities
- Creative mindset with the ability to turn simple ideas into compelling content
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience creating content for car dealerships, automotive brands, lifestyle companies, or local businesses
- Previous agency or social media management experience
- Photography and professional camera experience
- Experience writing captions and developing monthly content calendars
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Canva, or other creative tools
- Comfortable appearing on camera when a concept requires it
