*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diesel engine maintenance and repair, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various vehicles and equipment. Pay is based on experience and will increase as experience and work efficiency does. We work in the shop and outside in field (in the elements).
*Duties*
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in diesel vehicles
- Conduct brake repairs, welding, and fabrication as needed
- Utilize automotive diagnostic equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Service technician duties such as inspecting vehicles and conducting vehicle maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries
*Requirements*
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Proven experience
- Proficiency in brake repair, equipment repair, shocks struts replacement, and vehicle maintenance
- Strong knowledge of diesel diagnostics and repair techniques
- Ability to fabricate parts when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
