Warehouse Driver
Summary/Objective
With a large portfolio of active projects across 11 major market sectors throughout Illinois and the surrounding states, Connelly Electric is the leading design build & plan/spec electrical contractor in the Chicagoland area. Connelly Electric is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Driver responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and timely delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. This role combines driving responsibilities with warehouse support, including loading/unloading shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing materials, and ensuring efficient coordination between the warehouse and field teams.
Essential Duties
- Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to execute deliveries of tools, material, and equipment to job sites in a timely and efficient manner
- Track warehouse inventory
- Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment
- Operate and maintain forklift & scissor lift
- Shipping, receiving equipment and materials
- Ensure a positive experience between customers, vendors, and employees with timely, professional, and courteous work on and off site
- Following and enforcing safe work procedures
Qualifications
- Class C License
- Experience in construction or electrical industry preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
- Ability to meet critical deadlines
- Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
- Excellent attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
