Looking for a classroom Pre-School Teacher to work Monday through Friday for a Full-Time position. Pay is based on education and center/teaching experience. Position begins immediately.
Teachers are responsible for lesson plans, and must be tied to PA learning standards which currently uses Pocket of Preschool Curriculum to prepare students for SWSD kindergarten. A weekly meeting occurs with administration to keep staff supported and accountable.
Teachers are also responsible for observation/assessment, daily parent communication through the school application used, newsletters and direction.
Center is reputable and follows DHS regulations.
Applicants must be mature and responsible individuals, genuinely loving and concerned for children, patient, and displaying common sense. We are looking for a dependable, punctual, flexible and positive individual who must be at least 18 according to state regulations. Must be able to complete all required forms and communicate with other staff and parents appropriately. A team-player mindset is crucial. Staff must have all clearances, a TB test and a physical within the last year per state regulations.
Staff are expected to sit on the floor and play with children, read with them, and interact. Staff must follow health and safety guidelines according to state regulations. Paid staff meetings are required, usually once a month. A year's schedule contains all meeting dates, closings, and special events.

*Duties*
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and creativity.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and resolve conflicts.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support the educational and developmental needs of each child.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development.
*Experience*
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience in planning and implementing literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and other age-appropriate activities.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies for young children.
- Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
*Qualifications*
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
