Job Summary:
A welder will fabricate parts based off internal travelers and make sure all parts are to spec. This is a full time hourly position, Work hours may vary to meet needs of organization and some Saturday work required.
PAY: Based on Experience
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
· Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
· Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
· Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
· Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
· Maintain equipment and machinery
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to prioritize tasks
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Work well with a team
- Good knowledge of and adherence with safety standards
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 3- 5 years welding experience
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of standing/stationary position
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
· Repetitive motion of arms, hands, wrists
PPE:
· Safety Glasses Required
· Hearing Protection required in certain areas
· Safety Toe Shoes preferred but not required
· Welding Helmet required
· Welding apparel required
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
