We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Crew Member to join our amazing kitchen team.
As a Kitchen Crew Member, you will be responsible for all areas of our kitchen including: preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate will not only have the technical skills but also a dedication to delivering great food, ensuring guest satisfaction with every plate.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and equipment before the start of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature and plated attractively.
- Assist with food prep tasks, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, and properly store clean equipment throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and all equipment
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Be a team player, willing to jump in and help wherever needed to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required. Training provided.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to food safety and cleanliness.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
